Miles Zhu graduated with high honors from Georgia Institute of Technology, earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Prior to grad school, he spent two year working for Scanfil, a contract manufacturing company. He was responsible for reviewing customer RFQ, creating business cases and analyzing manufacturing cost of adding new product lines. He also led projects of NPI, prototyping, production optimization and calculating ROI. His accomplishments include production line efficiency improvement by up to 50% and five new customers’ partnership with more than 15 product lines addition.

While working at Scanfil, Miles was able to use analytical approach to tackle operation and business challenges. His quantitative skills, combined with good communication skills, helped solve technical issues and deliver results to management team and customers

Miles is a passionate basketball fan. He used to play on the practice team for Georgia Tech women’s basketball. His job was to simulate next opponent’s plays and play scrimmage with the team. He also plays golf in his spare time.
