Yi Li earned her double degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Information Engineering) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Hong Kong with honors in 2011.

In her final year research project, she worked on a modeled mesh network to analyze the appropriate routing nodes to be selected in the network and gave a solution to the routing nodes selection and also conducted related simulations to validate the algorithm. In addition, she was in a team selected by the professor to participate in Hong Kong ICT Award where they designed a geographical learning kit in C# for younger generation with the aid of Wii-mote.

During her internship at AIA company in summer 2010, she was with the database team to deal with the project management, cost analysis for project, housekeeping for databases, etc. She also wrote a small program to help speed up inventory update process.

Yi looks forward to attaining a better knowledge of financial markets and enhance her quantitative skills through the program. Currently she is especially interested in the area of risk management, financial modeling.
