Yi He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences, where he double-majored in mathematics and statistics.
He was working as a big data analyst intern in Admobilize for a year, both remotely and in site. He developed models on digital advertisement targeting and algorithms on interest prediction based on internally generated data and public resources.
During the first half of the 2013 summer, Yi worked as an intern analyst in a Chinese security company’s research department and worked on writing daily reports of banking industry stocks based on data provided by Wind, an information vendor. During the second half of summer, he worked as an investment banking intern and participated in the prospectus composition and external audition of SIP Design and Research Institute (SHA:603017).
Yi learned how to communicate with others effectively and efficiently from his position at the startup and in the alumni association. He also knows how to be a cooperative team player based on his experience on the mathematics modeling team in a research project in the Cornell Materials Science department.
He is eager to apply his strong background in mathematics and economics in any quantitative or analytical position in the financial industry and would welcome such opportunities with a modeling or programming focus.
