Yash Bhardwaj graduated from the Macaulay Honors Program at the City College of New York with a bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics in 2011. During his undergraduate tenure, Yash enrolled in a plethora of economics and finance classes such as corporate finance, derivatives, money and banking that stimulated his interest in this discipline. Moreover, his interest intensified during the winter of 2015 when Yash interned at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Mumbai as a risk analyst where he analyzed recent trends in the forex market and its impact on the Indian Banking system.

Having a good blend of qualitative and quantitative skills pushed Yash to explore the realm of finance. As an Applied Mathematics major, Yash took some challenging courses pertaining to quantitative finance such as Continuous and Discrete Models of Financial Mathematics that sharpened his statistical and analytical skills. In addition to being immersed in education, Yash is a member of both New York Cares and Habitat for Humanity where he has participated in multiple volunteering activities that benefit the less fortunate. Yash has worked in groups and teams on a multitude of occasions. From volunteering events to group projects, Yash has gained valuable knowledge regarding the dynamics of a successful group.
