Holding a firm belief that numbers and data never lie, Yaji joined the Master of Engineering program at Cornell University in the fall of 2014 with concentration in Data Analytics.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Previously, Yaji had one-year working experience in outsourcing consulting at Devott. He was responsible for providing consulting services to global companies which intended to build partnership and seek cooperation opportunities with Chinese service providers. He also provided services to governmental clients in China in industrial planning for outsourcing industry. In these projects, Yaji demonstrated impressive analytic capabilities, keen business insights and great communication skills.

With his solid mathematical background and consulting experience, Yaji considers this master’s program a great opportunity to enhance his technical skills that will allow him to carry out more complex business solutions.

In his spare time, Yaji enjoys playing pool, basketball, soccer and Texas Hold’em.
