Xiaodan Fang received her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University.

In her undergraduate thesis about customer profiling, she built a multi-attribute choice model allowing multiple user labels to profile users and predict their choice behaviors from characteristics. She won Outstanding Bachelor's Thesis Award for this research.

During her summer internship at Amazon, she was in charge of the Courier Scheduling Project. She worked with data to find the balanced delivery workload, and built a mixed integer programming model to optimize the delivery process, increasing total efficiency by 25%.

She has also worked as an intern at Citics Securities and Bank of China International, where she studied the IoT industry and the trends of relevant stock prices.

Xiaodan is interested in pursuing a career in data science upon graduation. She wants to use her knowledge in data to make the decision-making process more intelligent.
