Suraj Nagabhushana Ponnaganti received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Mumbai in June 2015. He is a valedictorian of his college that portraits his strong academic background. He has also received awards from Tata Consultancy Services and Larsen & Toubro for his exceptional academic achievements.

In his undergrad thesis, he worked with Nuclear Power Corporation India Limited to develop C/C++ programs that analyze two-phase flow patterns in a channel.

During his senior year, he was introduced to applications of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering in the field of manufacturing and supply chain management which motivated him to pursue higher education in ORIE. He has held numerous leadership positions during his academic career and has developed good organizing and execution skills.

Suraj’s ability to think out of the box, combined with good analytical and technical skills makes him come up with suitable solutions for complex problems.

During his free time, he enjoys playing football and cricket.
