Marie Catalano graduated magna cum laude from University at Buffalo in 2013, with a B.S. in industrial engineering. Upon graduation from Cornell in May 2014, she hopes to work in an energetic, growing company where she can solve problems on a motivated team.

Her contagious smile does not prevent productivity or high achievements. Marie has received several awards including the Lester B. Knight Scholarship, given jointly by the College of Engineering and Johnson School of Management. She is passionate about effective collaboration and has experience leading overnight backpacking trips in the Adirondack High Peaks, coordinating a simulation group at her co-op, and working as a teaching assistant in France this past summer.

In the fall of 2012, Marie presented research on simulation and data analysis of the U.S. Visa application process at two international conferences. Additionally, she has interned at Calspan Corporation, where she developed a training database to standardize the tracking process, Robert Bosch LLP, where she created a mock-up to increase space efficiency and Cameron, where she improved the incoming part tracking process.

The challenging work she has completed coupled with an enthusiastic personality and understanding of group dynamics, makes her a strong candidate for any team.
