Kun Ling graduated from University of Washington with a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics/Economics. During his studies Kun developed strong analytical skills along with a solid knowledge base in a variety of quantitative subjects. The challenging academic projects he participated have proven him an excellent team player and problem solver.

Prior to joining Cornell’s ORIE MEng program, he interned for Taikang Asset Management Company as a summer analyst, where he gained immense interest in the field through the research works on financial economics and asset allocation strategies. Upon completing of the program, Kun aspires to launch a career in the financial services industry, in particular in investment management and portfolio analytics. He hopes that an enhanced quantitative background acquired from the program would make him a valuable asset to the desired organizations.
