Chuyi graduated from both University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics, and Shanghai Jiaotong University with another Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Trained as an engineer, with strong abilities in mathematical analysis and logical thinking, coupled with extensive programming skills, she has successfully designed computer microprocessors. She was also exposed to the industry in which she found talent in analyzing manufacturing processes and giving optimization suggestions.

Chuyi worked as an assistant analyst intern in Guotai Junan Futures in summer 2013. She conducted research on different types of derivatives, which the company had not yet looked at and it proved useful for the colleagues to invest in those new derivatives. Coming from an engineering background with basic knowledge in finance, she learned quickly and gave informative and professional presentations. As an intern, she earned a reputation for being self-motivated and easy-going.

Her educational background, versatility and experience will certainly make her competitive in any team. She is eager to apply her capabilities in the industry.

Chuyi loves music and got the highest-grade certificate in the Chinese National Violin program.
