Anne Ng

Biography

Anne Ng received her bachelor’s degree in Operations Research and Engineering from Cornell University. She is interested in the intersection of business and technology. With her knowledge in statistics and data analytics, she enjoys finding business insights and solutions to bring changes.

While working at Capital One as a Product Management and Analytics intern during the summer of 2017, she utilized data and previous customers’ interviews to discover the relationship between online credit card application server stability and customers’ behaviors. She was also able to provide recommendations to alleviate the current problems. During her internship at LBN Advisers in the summer of 2016, she presented investment ideas to the management and and built a model portfolio system on spreadsheets to track the real-time updates.

At school, Anne discovered her interests in data science when she was a member of Cornell Data Science, where she applied machine learning algorithms and data visualizations to the Yelp data set.

Anne is eager to pursue a career where she can apply her data analytical skills. Other than her major studies, she is passionate about Japanese culture. She is taking advanced Japanese and planning to take JLPT N1 level in December.
