First-Year Colloquiums and Panels

The 1st Year Colloquium is a series of talks given by ORIE faculty members for the first year students, who organize the talks. These talks showcase the research that ORIE faculty have done recently and detail what ongoing work there may be for the new students to take on. This is a way that many students find their advisor. Furthermore, it's also a great way to meet the professors in the department and learn about what they are working on currently.
