Andrew is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering where he is advised by Jamol Pender. His research interests are in applied probability and stochastic processes, including self-exciting point processes, storage processes, and queues. Andrew's work is motivated by bursts of arrivals to systems, with applications to transportation, public health, and social media.
