Chaoran Wang received her bachelor’s degree in computing mathematics with a minor in finance from City University of Hong Kong in 2014. She is also a candidate for CFA Level III exam in June 2017.

During the summer of 2016, Chaoran interned at BNP Paribas in the Commodities Derivatives Trading and ETF Trading desks, where she worked on a variety of analytical projects to facilitate traders’ research on trading ideas and hedging strategies. Prior to attending Cornell University, Chaoran worked in JPMorgan Hong Kong office in its Technology division.

With strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, Chaoran is eager to pursue a career in quantitative trading and quantitative investing. In her free time, Chaoran enjoys doing sports. She is a certified scuba diver and was a member of the CityU Women’s tennis team.
