Ziyi Tang graduated with highest honor from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, Economics and Statistics.

During his undergraduate study, he participated in the research project “Excess Bank Reserves: Implication for Financial Markets”, in which he explored the correlation between S&P 500 stock sector index prices and the amount of loan inflow by sectors. Also, he participated and got the first place in the Economics Forecasting competition, in which he successfully built a deep view of the economics components and financial markets.

During his summer internship in China Everbright Bank, he helped senior associate to provide over 50 corporate clients with the commercial bills discount business and assisted developing the institutional financial products. This experience enabled him to have a deep insight of commercial banking business.

Upon graduation, Ziyi intends to pursue a career in the asset management or equity research field, in which he could apply his quantitative and programming skills.

In his spare time, Ziyi enjoys playing poker, tennis and he is also a crazy soccer fan.
